Here is a beautiful Sunday go to meeting Navajo horse throw or blanket. This little weaving is incredibly tight and the design placements are dynamic. This little weaving was folded for some 80 years and a small amount of moth damage has been repaired along the crease line. This is the most beautiful example of this type Navajo weaving that I have handled. At the recent, July 15th, Antiques Roadshow here in Chattanooga I showed this Navajo to their three tribal experts and the opinion of their Navajo expert was that this was the finest woven Germantown Navajo he had ever seen! It has approximately 40 wefts per inch. This is truly an exceptional piece of Navajo art.
