Ancient Coptic Textile

Very few Coptic textiles are dyed such a rich vermillion red. I would like to know what the red dye is. The two central panels seem to incorporate a free form type of expression. The owner of the larger garment must have been quite a rich person. This textile is obviously quite dirty and I am sure it can be cleaned. I am not qualified to clean it. This is a very desirable collectable Coptic textile.
